Licensed, registered, and insured (AMTA / DORA) massage therapist LMT and yoga teacher  (RYT). My passions include art, music, my dog Shanti (sanskrit for peace), snowboarding, camping, hiking, kayaking, and travel. I have Avascular Osteonecrosis, a  rare childhood bone blood disorder (Leg Calve Perthes) that affected my life starting at age 7. I regrew my hip as a child and then also had major corrective surgery as an adult to the same hip. The surgeries and procedures repaired my body but going on and off the heavy pharmaceutical medication required wasn't pleasant. I used swimming, climbing, kayaking, and horseback riding (hunter pace) to rehabilitate my hip as a teen and adult.  Exercise rehabilitation and climbing originally brought me to Colorado from NC as a young man of 12. I moved officially to CO in 05 from Boone NC with family and friends displaced by hurricane Katrina.  NY/NY was too crowded and Boone too rural for my taste. My sister lived in Denver so I moved us here. My recovery wouldn't have been possible without my father the MD or my mother the yoga therapist. Because of this I discovered a great love for self care that Integrates eastern and western philosophy into one practice. My practice is grounded in science, while honoring the individual's unique connection to spirituality. Tailoring each experience to that client's unique needs & style!  Before massage & yoga I was a studio & live sound engineer, musician (bass & hand percussionist), DJ, cannabis grower/industry worker by trade.  My work, surgery, and life all brought me to my practice. I believe in natural plant medicine, and self care. Massage therapy has helped me heal and maintain a healthier life for myself both physically and mentally. I enjoy sharing this with others!
